Principal's Welcome

Welcome students, parents, staff and community.

My name is Carl Pleasant; I have served at Wheatley for over a decade as the principal of Wheatley Alternative Education Center. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with students and the Wheatley Staff. I believe that success is achieved by spending the effort that it takes to succeed. I am asking this staff, parents and community to work together so all students can achieve this goal. We strive to teach and model behaviors that allow students to learn personal responsibility, citizenship, and the tenants for fairness, integrity and respect for themselves and others.

We also have the Wheatley Academic Program and the Adult Ed Program on Wheatley campus, and are thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. There is no doubt in our minds that every student is looking for respect, love, forgiveness, discipline and success.
